Dynogen is a privately held, clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing drugs to treat gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) disorders and diseases. We are developing products with the potential to address what are currently large unmet needs in disease areas that severely impair a patient's quality of life, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), nocturnal gastroesophageal reflux disease (NGERD) and overactive bladder (OAB). Dynogen currently has three clinical-stage products with opportunities across five GI and GU indications.
In 2007, Dynogen generated positive results for three of its clinical development programs:
- Positive results from the Company's Phase 2a study of DDP733 as a treatment for IBS-c;
- Positive results from the Company's Phase 1b study of DDP733 as a treatment for NGERD; and
- Positive results from the Company's Phase 2a study of DDP225 as a treatment for IBS-d.
Dynogen was founded in March 2002 and we have raised more than $67 million to date. In October 2002 we completed a $13.25 million Series A financing, and in April 2004 we completed a $50 million Series B financing.
